Our project management methodology

A dedicated project manager supports you throughout the entire project. They centralize the information exchanged between all project stakeholders. They also assist you in the definition of the project brief, as well as the functional and technical specifications.

Sprint is an English term that refers to high-intensity races over a short period. For teams, it means completing a set of backlog tasks within a specific timeframe. This approach allows for a staggered delivery and ensures quick and regular releases.

Sprints are initiated and completed by project committees (coproj) bringing together at least the client and the project manager, on a regular basis. During these meetings, we present completed work and organize the next sprint.‌ Depending on needs, steering committees may also punctuate the project. These involve project directors and enable decision-making and official approvals. Minutes are taken for all committees and are available in the project management repository.

Quick internal meetings with the project teams are held daily (20 minutes maximum) to reaffirm priorities and identify issues. These are then addressed in small groups.

Launching the website is not the end of the project! Once it is live, we monitor and audit the site, track user behavior, and make recommendations that can be implemented continuously.

The major steps in creating a web project

Initialization and specifications

The project begins with a kick-off meeting to introduce the teams, the methodology, the schedule, the risks, and the points to watch out for...
This is followed by the functional specifications and test plan drafting phase. This document serves as a reference throughout the project.

UX and UI design

The project goes through a design phase UX and UI design. Together, we will build the user experience and the design of the future site through mockups and by providing a design system.

Development by iterations

Our developers configure Drupal and integrate your web project. They handle the migration or integration of your content, develop features in 15-day sprints, and deliver to the pre-production environment.

Recipe and production deployment

With each sprint, a list of features is delivered to you in pre-production. Based on the initially defined specifications, you carry out tests and share your feedback with us so we can adjust the developments made.
Once we are aligned, we publish your site online: this is the go-live.
We include an audit phase before going live: performance, SEO, accessibility...

Maintenance and monitoring

The site is online but our work doesn’t stop there! We will analyze the first uses and draw recommendations from them as part of a process of continuous improvement. This is also when preventive, corrective, and adaptive maintenance is set in motion.

Our main tools

Our open-source project management platform lets you list backlog tasks, assign them a priority level, and discuss under each task.

This is a code repository tool. Git mainly makes collaborative work, access to the source code, and its versioning easier.

Git

This is a collaborative tool for managing the recette frontend. It allows feedback on the compliance of the interface with the mockups, and manages its progress.

Bugherd
