UX and UI design

Intuitive user experiences and graphical interfaces serving your brand

Our UX and UI designers create intuitive user experiences tailored to real user needs and unique graphical interfaces that reflect your brand’s visual identity.

Intuitive, enjoyable websites, serving your users

UX design is the user experience of a website. On the other hand, UI design refers to the appearance of its interface, its design. These complementary disciplines aim to create digital products that are simple and pleasant to use, and that meet the real needs of users. True acquisition tools, UX and UI design focus on the underlying motivations of your site's visitors in order to encourage them to interact with the content, visit more pages, and ultimately allow you to convert and retain them.

Taking an interest in your users, the key to a successful user experience

User experience is the way the user will experience their interaction with your site, your brand. To create this experience, we analyze the user's needs to design your product. Not the other way around.

The 4 stages of UX design conception

Our four-step methodology enables us to design a web experience tailored to your different audience profiles. Based on co-creation and collaboration, we involve you and your users throughout the entire process.

This stage allows us to immerse ourselves in your project, analyze your environment, and identify your key challenges. It's an important step to properly understand your needs.

  • Kick-off workshop
This workshop is meant to discuss your needs and expectations with you. It's an opportunity for our team to dive into your project, understand your challenges, and decide on the sequence of workshops if needed.
  • User experience audit
The UX audit aims to determine the strengths and weaknesses of your website in terms of UX and usability, especially for redesign projects. We review each page template of your site using usability criteria from UX doctrine (usability criteria for user interface evaluation by Bastien and Scapin, 1993). By reviewing your site, we can identify areas for improvement to offer concrete and effective solutions to your users.
  • UX Benchmarking
The UX benchmarking process is used for inspiration and to analyze competitor sites to assess their strengths and weaknesses, highlight good practices and ideas, and identify what should not be replicated. Presenting the benchmark also helps measure both your expectations and those of your users (it's even better to compare your benchmark with ours).

During this phase, we focus on your users to understand who they are. You surely know them, but our team does not. We work together to identify their needs, their expectations, and to design suitable journeys.

  • User research
To find out what your users think about your project, what better way than to meet them? The user research phase allows us to understand and analyze who your users are.
  • Personas
We need to study and define your users’ profiles together, and understand their expectations regarding your project. To do this, we create persona profiles with you that are representative of your users.
  • User journeys
With personas, we now know your users, and the next step is to define their navigation and journey through your future site. Together, we build the various journeys for each target group, each objective, and the site structure during workshops.

This is the time to design the screens. During this co-creation phase, we build together the skeleton and wireframes of your future pages in workshops called "Design Studio".

  • Ergonomic mockups
Also called wireframes, they are the "skeleton" of your future site. These are black-and-white drafts that represent the various page templates and their components. This is the preliminary stage before the design is rolled out, allowing you to envision all page templates.
  • Design studio
The Design Studio is a collaborative and participatory design workshop that enables the rapid generation of design solutions for a design challenge. The workshop is based on an iterative cycle alternating between concept creation, presentation of solutions, and constructive feedback.

It is always best to evaluate the choices made during the design phase to avoid having to fix the site during development or after it goes live. That’s why we offer a testing phase for the wireframes or mockups of your future site with your users.

  • User testing
These tests allow us to assess whether the choices made are effective and meet the users' expectations. Based on the results, we adjust the mockups before developing the site.

From user experience
to user interface

Once the UX design work is completed, you get a website that is easy and pleasant to use, meeting your users' expectations. All that remains is to design your web project's interface, which is the UI design phase. Our designers then strive to create an aesthetic product, based on your brand's visual identity.

The 4 stages of UI design

This step allows us to study the competitive market, trends, and identify ideas to keep or develop. It’s during this phase that we carry out audits and benchmarks.

  • UI Audit
The purpose of the UI audit is to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the interfaces making up the website, during a redesign project. By reviewing the website according to a grid of five criteria, we can identify possible improvements and suggest solutions to provide users with a unique experience while respecting the brand’s identity.
  • UI Benchmark
The UI benchmark or graphic benchmark involves analyzing the interfaces of competing applications or websites. It allows us to know market trends and identify the elements that will make your website stand out.

This phase allows us to jointly define the artistic direction to best convey your image and values. We develop different creative concepts and then validate everything through a representative sample of the artistic direction.

  • Artistic Direction Definition Workshop
This workshop enables us to define with you the artistic direction to prioritize in order to convey your image and values. During this collaborative session, we define the graphic codes and elements of your visual identity that should be included in your future interfaces.
  • Creative Concepts
Our team of UI designers creates the first drafts of future mockups. The creative concepts phase represents the "cautious" stage of our methodology. We present our initial ideas to you through a few mockups.
  • Production of a Sample of Pages Representative of the Artistic Direction
The production of a sample of representative pages is the final step to ensure the effective implementation of the artistic direction on a limited set of mockups.

With the artistic direction approved, we can proceed with deployment. Deployment is carried out across all the user journeys to be prototyped but also through a complete design system, which takes into account mobility constraints.

  • Responsive wireframing of UI journeys
We deploy the UI wireframes for the remaining journey templates. The wireframes are created in the order of user journeys and in a fully dynamic way.
  • Design system
This is the final stage. The design system lists and defines all graphical specifications for the interfaces: color palette, typographic rules, spacing system, grid and columns, responsive components, structural templates... These elements are carefully organized and sorted according to the “atomic design” approach.

To go further, we suggest enriching the artistic direction with illustrations that we can animate later.

  • Illustrations
To enhance the iconography, illustrations are the ideal compromise. They make it possible to illustrate ideas, bring warmth to the content, and convey your brand's values. The illustration work we offer is custom-made, taking into account all the artistic direction specifications.
  • Illustration animation (motion design)
To bring your project to life and make interfaces more attractive, animating illustrations (motion UI design) helps enrich user journeys. Each illustration receives an adapted treatment to make it animated and lively. We study each scenario based on UI objectives and the specific features of the illustration.
