DropCampus: a Drupal site factory for universities
With DropCampus, bluedrop.fr supports universities in designing and managing their Drupal site ecosystem. Institutional portals, laboratory sites, departments, libraries or university services: a multisite approach to share content, connect business data, and meet the needs of each entity.
Why a multisite solution for universities?
A university brings together many entities: management, teaching departments, research laboratories, libraries, doctoral schools, and administrative services. Each may have its own content, contributors, and needs, while sharing information with the rest of the institution.
DropCampus fits into this approach. The solution is based on Drupal and aims to facilitate the management of a ecosystem of websites coherent, interconnected and scalable.
The objective: to pool technical foundations and shared content, while maintaining the flexibility needed by each university entity.
