Progressive web apps

A Progressive Web Application (PWA) is a web application that takes advantage of the most modern web features to provide users with an experience similar to that of mobile apps on platforms such as iOS and Android. PWAs combine the features offered by most modern browsers with the benefits of the mobile experience, including native mobile device functionalities.

Decoupling with Drupal

We are involved in the deployment of new content delivery architectures that provide an optimized experience, especially on mobile, and offer enhanced performance levels. We use ReactJS, Angular, and VueJS, depending on the projects, to animate and build the interfaces.

The advantages of PWA:

  • It is progressive: works on all browsers
  • It is responsive: adapts to all screen resolutions
  • It works offline
  • It is always up to date
  • It is secure
  • It is installable and shareable
  • It encourages re-engagement
  • It avoids the various app stores
