My tourism job

Date of release : May 2021

For the French Tourism Institute, we redesigned a digital platform dedicated to promoting tourism-related professions, called "Mon Emploi Tourisme." This innovative project aims to support professionals and aspiring individuals in the tourism sector throughout their career paths by offering them a complete set of tools, such as a job board and a career gateway.

Our missions
  • UI design
  • Development
  • Maintenance
  • Accommodation

The challenges of the project

Tourism professions, which are constantly evolving, face major challenges. To address these, our mission has been to design a solution that allows us to:

  • Fill vacant positions.
  • Meet the sector’s specific needs in terms of skills.
  • Facilitate professional mobility by identifying pathways between professions.
  • Anticipate changes in the sector by providing tools for career development.

Connecting candidates and recruiters

The platform features a powerful job search engine, allowing users to filter offers according to multiple criteria: job title, location, contract type, and industry sector. Thanks to the integration of the France Travail API, the site lists not only job postings published directly by recruiters but also those from France Travail, thus offering comprehensive coverage of the job market.

A professional gateway dedicated to career mobility

The career gateway helps users identify potential career development or retraining paths. This system is based on the transferability of skills between professions. Thanks to our partner Arthur Hunt Consulting, a human resources expert, we have integrated a skills matrix that establishes compatibilities between professions. This allows users, starting from their current job, to discover accessible positions based on their skills, their level of education, and their interests assessed through a personalized quiz.

Introducing professions suited to each profile

The career gateway tool provides job recommendations with compatibility levels based on the user's skills. Each suggestion is linked to a detailed job description offering a comprehensive overview of each profession, making it easier to decide on a possible career change or advancement.

Plenty of resources to support tourism professionals

  • News on trends and developments in the tourism sector.
  • Direct access to professional training specific to tourism.
  • Business sale announcements in the tourism industry.

A national promotional campaign

During Tourism Careers Week, the Minister of Tourism Olivia Grégoire and the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron spoke on social media to give visibility to the platform. It was also featured in advertisements by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
