Audit of user experience and interface ergonomics
UX is the satisfaction of a user with a website or a product.
UX audit, but what else?
As part of our UX audit, we focus on ergonomics while taking into account the overall experience felt by the user. To do this, we rely on the Bastian and Scapin criteria, leading references in the field of user experience.
Our evaluation focuses on essential aspects such as ease of use, efficiency, accessibility, information clarity, interface consistency, and other key factors that influence the quality of interactions between users and your website. Based on these recognized criteria, our audit aims to identify areas needing improvement to significantly optimize the overall experience of your visitors.

Objectives
The objectives of a UX audit are as follows:
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the user experience on the site;
- Provide recommendations to improve the user experience;
- Enhance user satisfaction;
- Increase the conversion rate;
- Reduce the bounce rate;
- Improve the website's visibility on search engines.
The UX audit makes it possible to assess the user experience of a website by analyzing the interface, content, and features.
Evaluation criteria used
Our UX audit is based either on Bastien and Scapin’s criteria or Nielsen’s, depending on the project. These criteria are internationally recognized as the most relevant for evaluating user experience since they have been studied and are scientifically validated.
Bastien and Scapin
The Bastien and Scapin criteria are based on an analysis of the tasks that users need to perform on a website. They help identify areas for improvement that can make these tasks easier and more efficient.
Nielsen
The Nielsen criteria are based on an analysis of UX principles. They help identify areas for improvement that can make a website more intuitive and enjoyable to use.
When to conduct a UX audit
A UX audit can be conducted at any time, but it is generally recommended in the following cases:
- When launching a new website: a UX audit can help you identify areas for improvement before your website goes live.
- When redesigning a website: a UX audit can help you identify the strengths and weaknesses of the old website and offer recommendations for the new version.
- When you notice a decrease in user satisfaction: a UX audit can help you identify the causes of this decline and suggest solutions to improve it.
- When you want to improve your website's conversion rate or bounce rate: a UX audit can help you identify obstacles that prevent users from achieving their goals on your website.
In general, it is recommended to conduct a UX audit every 2 to 3 years to ensure that your website still meets the needs of your users.
