Our news for the third quarter of 2024: there's sunshine and Drupal projects!

Published on 16 October 2024
As a fresh breeze signals the arrival of autumn, we invite you—through this article—to revisit your holiday memories as we look back on the news that marked our summer and the September return. The past quarter has been filled with exciting new projects, major launches, and contributions to the Drupal community. Here’s a brief overview!

New projects: great collaborations for this quarter

Tisséo

We have taken over the maintenance and development of two important websites within the Tisséo ecosystem, the public transport operator in Toulouse: projetsmetro.tisseo.fr and tisseo-collectivites.fr. These sites focus on communication about infrastructure and transport projects.

Université Panthéon Sorbonne

The university entrusted us with the redesign of its intranet using Drupal 10. The aim of this project is to modernize internal communication tools to make daily information management easier for students and academic staff. A robust, high-performance, and user-friendly platform for a leading institution of higher education.

Khayal Production

We handled the upgrade of the Stars of Science website, an educational reality TV show, moving it from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. This was a technical challenge due to the unique aspects of this one-of-a-kind migration.

Production launches: our key achievements

ANFA: the Job to Move job board

For the National Association for Automotive Training, we carried out the complete redesign of their job board dedicated to automotive professions. This recruitment site aims to support professional mobility in the automotive sector by connecting candidates and recruiters and facilitating the process for both parties.

Elior Group

We carried out the upgrade to Drupal 10 of thesite factory for Elior Group, managed by Aegir and powered by Drupal. This project allows Elior Group to keep its multi-site platform up to date while benefiting from the latest Drupal technology advances.

University of Rennes

We launched the training directory for the University of Rennes: formations.univ-rennes.fr. A key project to centralize and share the university’s course offerings in a clear and intuitive way. We’ll tell you more about it soon in a dedicated article!

Contributions to the Drupal community

As you know, active participation in the Drupal community is part of our DNA, and this quarter was no exception. We contributed to several projects and patches, including:

In addition to these modules, we earned contribution credits. On the drupal.org site, issue credits are a way to recognize and reward developers’ and companies’ contributions to the Drupal community, especially by solving problems (issues) in the code or documentation. An issue is a task or a problem reported on drupal.org, such as fixing a bug or a functional improvement. We earned them for the following projects:

Eloïse joins the bluedrop.fr team

On the team side, we had the pleasure of welcoming Eloïse this quarter, our new developer and technical project manager. Cheerful and committed, she not only strengthens our expertise but also brings new energy to the agency. Thanks to her technical know-how and project management skills, Eloïse plays a central role, leading the development of innovative solutions while ensuring, particularly on the technical side, smooth coordination between our teams and our clients. We look forward to our clients meeting her and experiencing the positive impact her arrival has on the team.

3 fun facts to get to know her better:

  • She is especially passionate about eco-design and accessibility issues.
  • She discovered us thanks to this blog (and let's just say your humble web writer is thrilled!)
  • In another life, she was an elementary school teacher, which probably explains her ease both with human language and with programming languages.

Vroom vroom: hey there, auto show

We had the pleasure of supporting ANFA (National Association for Automotive Training) at the Auto Show on October 17 in Paris, to promote their new job board, JobToMove, dedicated to the automotive sector. We are delighted with their satisfaction regarding the redesign we carried out, and we warmly thank them for inviting us to take part in this event. It was a wonderful opportunity to highlight our collaboration and the work accomplished together to support the industry’s dynamism.
