We developed a job board for Meuse Attractivité. Committed to promoting the region's appeal, this Meuse-based association aims to attract new talent that matches the recruitment needs of Meuse. As a partner of the group Arthur Hunt Consulting, an expert in HR matters on this project, we were asked to handle the UX design, UI design, development, maintenance, and hosting of the website.

Promote job opportunities in the Meuse and attract missing skills
Founded in November 2019 by the initiative of the department, local authorities in Meuse and the Grand Est region, Meuse Attractivité actively works on the image of the Meuse area. A network-building and reputation-boosting initiative, supporting development through innovative tools and methods in the economic, tourism, and residential sectors.
Meuse Attractivité is also involved in supporting industrial and strategic companies based in Meuse, inviting them to work on major and shared challenges to foster joint solutions. In this context, the issue of recruitment is a priority. That’s why Meuse Attractivité wanted to facilitate connections between candidates and employers. To meet this need, we developed a Drupal job board in partnership with Arthur Hunt Consulting.
A partnership between Arthur Hunt Consulting and bluedrop.fr to combine business and technical expertise
Arthur Hunt Consulting is a group that supports its clients on all HR-related issues with the aim of developing human capital and increasing company performance. HR experts, they brought their professional expertise to Meuse Attractivité, notably helping them build relevant job offers and job descriptions. They approached us to support them in creating the platform.
Our reciprocal collaboration has led us, for several years now, to design and offer numerous job boards, "career" platforms offering professional development paths, or applications for digitalizing HR tools (decision support, career guidance, professional training, HR self-assessment).
Some examples:
- monemploitourisme.fr: a job board dedicated to the tourism sector;
- emploi-plasturgie.org: a job board dedicated to the plastics industry;
- macarrieredanslapharma.org: a job board dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry;
- Le Bon Marché: an internal job board, following professional development paths.
The scope of the project
- UX and UI design: creation of wireframes and graphic mockups aligned with the graphic charter of the Meuse region.
- Configuration of the France Travail API to be able to share their job postings in real time on the site.
- Creation of job profiles to present occupations under strain (Arthur Hunt Consulting).
- Testing and deployment.

Now let’s talk about the specifications. The site is aimed at two types of users: on the one hand, companies recruiting in Meuse, and on the other hand, potential candidates (those looking for a job, young people seeking inspiration for their career orientation, and working professionals considering a career change).
Let's go over the main features of the site
Job Search
As a candidate, I access job offers in the Meuse through a search engine with specific sorting criteria (targeted job, location, type of contract).
The job offers presented are both internal and external: they can be posted directly on the site by recruiters or fetched from France Travail via its dedicated API.
Posting Job Offers
As a recruiter, I can post job offers on the site. This allows the company to gain greater visibility through the display of its logo and the job post, which is encouraged to be written in the platform's engaging and accessible language to better capture the target audience and stand out from traditional job offers.
Discovering in-demand professions in the Meuse
I have access to job profiles for professions that are hiring in the region (filterable by sector of activity). Each profile presents, among other things, examples of organizations where this job can be practiced, related job offers, the tasks and associated skills, as well as the training required to access them.

Guidance assistance via a chatbot
A chatbot offers you a quiz-style conversation to help guide you towards careers based on your preferences. For this, Arthur Hunt Consulting created a matrix linking jobs to each answer. This was provided to us in order to develop the tool. This feature is intended to be fun and interactive thanks to the chatbot format, its tone, and the use of gifs. We'll let you decide for yourself!
