ANFA, a central role in training and employment in automotive professions
Faced with rapid changes resulting from technological, economic, and environmental developments, the association aims to:
- Sustain employment and promote the integration of young people into the sector.
- Support businesses in transitioning towards practices suited to new requirements.
Objective: to provide a public-interest service designed and optimized to perfectly meet the needs of both recruiters and candidates
With the goal of positioning the future platform as the leading job board for the automotive services sector, ANFA has implemented a comprehensive communication strategy aimed at maximizing the number of listed job postings and providing a comprehensive representation of the job market.
With this in mind, special attention was paid to UX design for the site to create optimized user journeys that precisely meet the needs of recruiters and candidates. The goal: to ensure a smooth and fast user experience through intuitive steps, a limited number of fields to fill in, and features designed to simplify the often tedious job search and recruitment processes. All of this with a mobile-first approach, ensuring navigation is tailored to the smartphone usage favored by candidates. The overall design was also carefully crafted to strengthen and enhance the user experience.
Our missions
- UX and UI Design : creation of an intuitive interface for candidates and recruiters.
- Drupal Development : implementation of a high-performing, scalable, and secure platform.
- Hosting and maintenance : O&M, ongoing corrective and adaptive maintenance.
Advanced features for candidates and recruiters
The new JobToMove offers an enhanced experience for candidates:
- Multi-criteria search engine (job, location, experience, vehicle type, diploma).
- Personalized alerts based on search preferences.
- Detailed company profiles.
- Comprehensive candidate profile management: resume, diplomas, skills.
- Simplified application process with the "one-click apply" feature.
For recruiters, we have designed a centralized dashboard offering comprehensive job posting management.
- Creation, modification, and tracking of job offers.
- Saving candidates as favorites.
- CV search engine to quickly identify qualified talents.
- Personalized alerts to keep track of new applications.
- Internal messaging to communicate with candidates.
A dynamic map to visualize job offers
This is a rare feature on job sites: in addition to the classic list view, we have added an option allowing users to view job offers directly on an interactive map. A valuable advantage for assessing the distance from their home.
This innovation enhances the candidate experience while presenting a significant technical challenge. In fact, it was necessary to design a user-friendly map capable of handling a large volume of offers without compromising the site's performance or the speed at which results are displayed.
Centralisation of automotive market job offers through the aggregation of third-party job boards and ATS
To create a truly comprehensive platform, JobToMove does not limit itself to listings posted directly on the site. The solution also integrates external offers from third-party job boards, such as France Travail, as well as those from ATS systems like Cegid TalentSoft, Digital Recruiter, TeamTailor, TalentPlug, SmartRecruiters, Flatchr, Beetween, HelloWork, Intuition (and more to come). This feature, implemented via API connections, allows all sector offers to be centralized in one place, thus providing candidates with complete and optimized access to all market opportunities.
Moreover, the creation of an API allowing job boards to distribute listings from JobToMove is in progress!
UX design: a refined user experience, designed for candidates and recruiters
We adopted a user-centered approach in close collaboration with the ANFA teams. Thanks to an in-depth UX benchmark and several co-creation workshops with ANFA and specialized stakeholders, we were able to define strategic directions aimed at meeting the specific needs of each target audience (recruiters, candidates) and the association's communication objectives.
Our approach was structured around several key areas:
- UX analysis and user journeys: We studied existing user journeys to make them more intuitive and modern, taking into account varying degrees of digital proficiency and industry-specific requirements.
- Optimized information architecture: A clear architecture, reflecting the goals of each user type, to simplify navigation and access to information.
- Detailed wireframes: Creation of structural mockups to depict the various pages of the future site and their functionalities.
- User testing: Conducting qualitative tests in real conditions on mobile devices. These tests, involving recruiters and candidates, provided direct feedback and helped identify friction points.
Tangible results: User feedback praised a clean interface and smooth user journeys. The aim of minimizing administrative steps was achieved. The site also meets the practical needs of recruiters without going through complex HR processes.
Graphic design: a new visual identity
ANFA provided us with the brand new JobToMove visual guidelines, from which our designers proposed a modern and consistent artistic direction: use of the rounded yellow shape, rounded buttons and elements, use of colors… They then created detailed graphic mockups on Figma for both desktop and mobile versions.
A redesign project to support professional mobility in the automotive services sector
By centralizing job offers and facilitating access to training, JobToMove positions itself as a key player in supporting career mobility within the automotive services sector.
To give it a resounding launch, the site will be presented by ANFA at the Paris Motor Show from October 14 to 20, 2024, and will benefit from a major communication plan throughout the month (radio ads and digital campaign).
We would like to warmly thank ANFA for its trust and our teams for their commitment throughout this ambitious project.
